Unable to View Customers in the Mobile App

This article helps if the mobile app users are unable to view any customer. You can follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

  1. Log in to the respective EFFORT account as admin.
  2. Navigate to Web App > Employees.
  3. Search for the user who is facing the issue.
    You can use Employee Filters to search the user.
  4. Click on the employee name, then click Customer Mapping option as shown below.

  5. Check for the directly mapped customers or in the hierarchy and inform the same to the user.
  6. Perform the following steps to check the various mapping options if the user is unable to view customers.
    Scenario Steps
    If the user created customers and unable to view them.
    If the user created customers and unable to view them, then turn on the Auto Map Customer to Employee option.

    To turn on this option, you need to edit the employee. On the edit page, you can find this option in the Employee Details section. Click Here for the step by step procedure to edit an employee.

    If the user is unable to view the customers even after enabling the Auto Map Customer to Employee option.
    Check the Customer Type Mapping of the employee. To check, follow the steps listed below.
    • Navigate to Web App > Employees.
    • Search for the employee and click overflow menu icon (vertical 3 dots) under the Actions column.
    • Click Customer Type Mapping.
    • Complete the customer type mapping.

    Once mapping is done, then the user can view the customers in mobile app.

    If the user is unable to view the customers even after the Customer Type Mapping.
    If users still complain that they are unable to view the customers even having hundreds of customers mapped, then you need to enable the Send Customers for offline use option.

    To turn on this option, you need to edit the employee. On the edit page, you can find this option in the Employee Details section. Click Here for the step by step procedure to edit an employee.

    If you checked Mapping, Auto Mapping, Customer Type Mapping, and Send Customers for offline use, then ask the user to sync the mobile app. Now the user can view the customers.
